Advanced Practice Provider Fellowships
The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center offers six fellowship tracks that give advanced practice providers the opportunity to enhance their skills and become more specialized care providers. These 12-month programs combine education and clinical immersion with world-class experts.

Accreditation
ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program® (PTAP) has reaccredited The Ohio State University Health System with a four-year accreditation for the practice transition programs for new advanced practice providers.

Grow with Ohio State
Ohio State’s Clinical Advancement Program offers clear criteria and eligibility requirements for advancement, creating a straightforward and accessible path for career growth. It’s designed to reward those who achieve personal and professional growth and development, and it promotes a professional, collaborative practice environment.
Three levels of practice within the program are defined as APP (an entry-level position for all newly hired advanced practice providers), APP Proficient (designation for APPs well-rounded in clinical practice, research, clinical education, leadership and community service/wellness) and APP Expert (APPs who manage complex patient care situations and demonstrate excellence as a professional).
